Dark elbow
Dark elbows do not require treatment, and there is no cure. However, treatments and home remedies may temporarily reduce the appearance of dark elbows.
Many factors may contribute to the development of dark patches
- psoriasis
- some skin conditions
- skin care products
- hormone fluctuations from pregnancy or other conditions
- a buildup of dead skin

It could be obesity , the condition is called acanthosis nigrican ,
Sometimes because you are obese and there is constant friction in underarms that can also lead to pigmentation
It could be hormonal changes , PCOS.
It could be because of friction , again because of obesity.
If you are allergic to deodorants and perfumes , it can develop pigmentation—antiperspirant rollon , clotrimazol powder in that area could be the solution to this .
Then there are many infections like fungal infection , there is one called erythrasma by bacterial infection——in home remedies you can apply yogurt and bit of turmeric mixed in it.
Shaving waxing can lead to pigmentation.
